Reef Routine Poker
Reef Routine Poker is based on regular poker hands. To play, you need to place an "ante" wager before being dealt your 3 cards face down and 2 common cards dealt in front of the dealer. You must make the best 5-card poker hand possible using the 2 common cards together with your 3 cards. You may only play one hand. Before the dealer reveals the first of the common cards, you have the option to place another bet, equal to your ante, on the "1st raise". After the first common card is revealed, you may again elect to place a wager equal to your ante on the "2nd raise". Both raises are optional, and you still remain in the game if you choose not to raise.

Once both common cards have been revealed the dealer will check each player's hand to see if it qualifies. Your ante and any raise bets are each paid at the following odds:

  • Pair of 10's or better 1 to 1
  • Two pairs 2 to 1
  • Three of a kind 3 to 1
  • Straight 8 to 1
  • Flush 10 to 1
  • Full House 12 to 1
  • Four of a Kind 25 to 1
  • Straight Flush 50 to 1
  • Royal Flush 250 to 1

Casino Hold ‘Em Poker
Casino Hold ‘Em is based on the popular hold ‘em poker seen on tv. To play, you need to place an "ante" wager before being dealt your 2 cards face down, The dealer will also receive 2 cards dealt face down. The dealer will then deal 3 “flop” cards face up. You will now be given the opportunity to “fold” or “call”. If you choose to “fold”, you will forfeit your “ante” bet and the dealer will remove your cards. Should you wish to “call”, you will be required to place a bet equal to twice your “ante”. Two more cards are dealt face up, bringing the total number of “flop” cards to 5. You must make the best 5-card poker hand possible using the 5 “flop” cards together with your 2 cards. You may only play one hand. The dealer will now reveal their two cards. The dealer qualifies with a pair of 4’s or better. If the dealer qualifies, you need to have a better hand than the dealer to win. If you have a winning hand, and the dealer qualifies, your “call” bet is paid even money and your “ante” is paid at the appropriate odds. If the dealer does not qualify, the “ante” is paid at the appropriate odds, but the “call” bet is not paid.

Winning ante bets are paid at the following odds:

  • Royal Flush     100 to 1
  • Straight Flush   20 to 1
  • 4 of a Kind        10 to 1
  • Full House           3 to 1
  • Flush                   2 to 1
  • All other Hands   1 to 1

Blackjack
A "blackjack" is an Ace and any 10-value card dealt as the first two cards. Winning blackjacks are paid at odds of 3 to 2, and beat a score of 21 made with more than two cards. To play, just place a wager on the betting area and the dealer will then deal two cards face up to each player at the table and one card to the dealer's hand. Jack, Queen and King count as 10, Ace counts as 1 or 11, and the other cards have their face value.

If your hand is equal to the dealer's hand, it is a stand-off. If you believe the dealer's first card is too strong then, before any more cards are dealt to any of the players, you may choose to "surrender" your hand by forfeiting half your bet to and withdrawing from that round of play. If the dealer's first card is an Ace no surrender option will be offered. If the dealer's first card is an Ace, you may make a side bet (only up to half of your original bet) on the "insurance" line before any more cards are dealt to any of the players. If the dealer's second card is a 10-value card, insurance wins and pays 2 to 1 on the dealer’s blackjack. If the dealer’s card has any other value than a 10, the insurance bet is forfeited.

Before a second card is dealt to the dealer's hand, the dealer will give each player in turn the opportunity to improve their hand. When the dealer gets to your hand, you have the following choices:

  • Card: just tap the table behind your betting area and say "card" to receive another card if your total is less than 21.
  • Take as many cards as you like, as long as your hand does not exceed 21.
  • Split: If you have 2 of the same cards (eg. 2 of hearts or 2 of spades).
  • Double: You may double your wager on any 2 card totals but only receive one card.
  • Stand: If you want to stay on the cards that you have and don’t want the dealer to deal you another card.

Blackjack Block:Mykonos Casino also offers Blackjack Block, a side bet which is resolved with the players first two cards and the dealers first card. The basic concept is that the players card or cards needs to match the dealers in suite and then exceed the dealers card in rank. The odds offered are excellent and are as follows:

Hand Pays
NORMAL BLOCK 2   to 1
FLUSH BLOCK 5   to 1
PAIR BLOCK 10 to 1
ULTIMATE BLOCK 35 to 1

Normal Block is achieved when only one of the players cards matches the dealers in suite and also exceeds the dealers card in rank.

Flush Block is when the players cards are the same suite and also match the suite of the dealers card and one of the players cards exceeds the dealers in rank.

Pair Block is when the player has a numerical pair and one of the cards matches the dealers in suite and exceeds to dealers card in rank.

Ultimate Block is when the players two cards are the same in both rank and suite and that suite matches the dealers and the players rank exceeds the rank of the dealers card.

Roulette
The wheel has 37 compartments numbered 0 to 36. There is one green zero, 18 red numbers and 18 black numbers. The dealer spins the ball and when the ball comes to rest this will be the winning number. Because several players can bet on the same number, you should ask for "colour chips" when buying in to play on the numbers, so that you can easily distinguish your bets. When buying colour chips they will be at the table minimum unless you ask for them at a higher value and the dealer will then place a marker to your colour showing its new value. Your colour chips can only be used at that table since only your dealer knows how much each chip is worth. Before leaving that table, exchange your colour back for "cash chips" of fixed denominations which can be used on any table in the casino.

You can wager on specific betting areas that the winning number will be black or red, odd or even, low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36). These bets are paid at odds of even money but lose when zero is spun. Or you can wager on the individual numbers (including zero) or combinations of the numbers by placing your chips in the following manner:
